BREAKING NEWS: Arizona wide are on the verge of lossing there key player due to………….

Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan’s impressive performance over his first two college seasons has firmly placed him on the NFL Draft radar.

Football Focus identifies him as the top NFL prospect in the Wildcats’ new conference. Standing tall at 6-foot-5 and weighing 210 pounds, McMillan showcased some of the most remarkable plays among all college receivers last season. His 87.4 overall grade and 89.1 receiving grade from PFF were the highest in the revamped Big 12. Despite lacking some agility typical of smaller receivers, McMillan excelled with 18 contested catches in 2023, several of which were breathtaking. His potential as a WR1 at the professional level is highly regarded.

McMillan is highlighted as the premier offensive prospect for the 2024 Big 12 season, even though Oklahoma State’s running back Ollie Gordon was chosen as the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in a preseason media poll. However, McMillan’s NFL potential is undeniable. He currently ranks ninth on PFF’s 2025 NFL Draft big board and is the second-highest rated receiver, just behind Luther Burden III from Missouri.

Coming off a standout sophomore season with the Wildcats, McMillan amassed 90 receptions for 1,402 yards and 10 touchdowns. His standout performance against Arizona State in the Territorial Cup included a career-best 11 receptions for 266 yards, a record-breaking feat in the rivalry’s 97-year history.

As he enters his junior year, expectations are high for McMillan to build on his success. With the departure of receiver Jacob Cowing to the NFL, McMillan is expected to see increased targets from quarterback Noah Fifita.

Arizona is not only embarking on a new journey in a new conference but also under new leadership with head coach Brent Brennan taking the helm after Jedd Fisch’s departure to Washington. Fisch, who led the Wildcats for three seasons, left shortly after their victory over Oklahoma in the Alamo Bowl.
